MEDICINE WOMEN

Helen Weld R.N. MPH & Judy Sandick MD, longtime friends and neighbors, had a remarkable six weeks in the spring of 2007 doing volunteer relief work with Comprehensive Disaster Response Services (CDRS) in area of Kashmir, Pakistan which was struck by the massive October 8th, 2005 earthquake. Judy is currently working full, full time at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta, Maine as a hospitalist. At the same time, Helen is fitting in a bit of “solo” work to gain more public health experience.
